The Youth Housing Coordinator is responsible to lead the GRFN Housing Department’s youth housing initiatives and programs in Garden River. Coordination of community events (info sessions), public outreach and education initiatives regarding Youth Housing in GRFN are apart of the coordinator’s role. The Youth Housing Coordinator functions within legislative requirements, regulations, policies and procedures and the Mission, Beliefs and Vision of the Garden River First Nation, and contributes to the accomplishment of the strategic priorities.

The Tenant Relations Officer is responsible for maintaining effective relationships between tenants and the Garden River First Nation Housing Department and ensuring that all tenants are adequately accommodated. The Tenant Relations Officer is also in charge of reviewing tenant accounts and application forms to various programs being offered.

Construction Maintenance Coordinator

The Construction Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the development of new construction projects and building alterations, assisting the project team with composition, design, development and construction phases, supervising all contractors on execution & project locations, and ensuring work quotations are completed and verified for accuracy. The Construction Maintenance Coordinator also oversees all maintenance issues and concerns within the Section 95 program.
